Storm-Damaged Shingle Replacement in College Park

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
[Before: wind-lifted shingles and exposed underlayment | After: new architectural shingles with clean ridge lines]

The problem: a summer thunderstorm peeled back a section of shingles near the ridge, and water was already staining the ceiling in the upstairs hallway. We replaced the damaged decking, laid new underlayment, and matched the replacement shingles to the existing GAF architectural profile so the repair blended in. The result: a roof that sheds water properly again, and no more hallway stains. This is the kind of job where our 365-Day Done Right Promise matters, because wind damage like this can hide in places you don’t see until the next big rain.

Aging Tile Roof Restoration in Baldwin Park

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
[Before: cracked and slipped Boral tiles with visible gaps | After: replaced tiles seated and color-matched to the original roof]

The problem: a 20-year-old tile roof with cracked and slipped tiles was letting water run under the felt in two places. Instead of a full tear-off, we reset the field, replaced the broken Boral tiles, and re-fixed the flashing at the chimney and sidewalls, which is where most tile roofs fail first. The result: a roof that looks original but is actually watertight again. The homeowner kept the rest of their budget, which is exactly why we don’t push a full replacement when a repair is the honest answer.

Full Roof Installation in Lake Nona

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
[Before: 25-year-old three-tab shingles, visible granule loss, curling at the eaves | After: new Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles with full ridge venting]

The problem: a roof from the late 1990s had curled shingles, bare spots where granules had washed off, and a ridge vent that was doing almost nothing in Florida’s heat. We did a full tear-off, replaced two sheets of soft decking, installed new synthetic underlayment, and put on Owens Corning Duration shingles with proper ridge venting. The result: a cooler attic, a dry interior, and a roof rated for the wind loads common in this part of Orlando. The written price we gave before tear-off didn’t change, and the homeowners knew exactly what they were paying for before the first shingle came off.

Chimney Flashing Leak Repair in Winter Park

Professional roofer installing asphalt shingles on a residential roof
[Before: corroded galvanized flashing with visible gaps at the chimney base | After: new step flashing and counter-flashing sealed and painted to match]

The problem: water was running down the brick face of the chimney and pooling in the ceiling cavity. The old flashing had been sealed with caulk so many times it looked like a bad art project. We cut out the old metal, installed new step flashing and counter-flashing, and sealed the joint with a polyurethane sealant that actually moves with the roof. The result: dry ceilings and a chimney that no longer needs a bucket under it when Orlando gets its afternoon rain. Flashing is where a lot of roofs fail, and it’s where we spend extra time to get the detail right.

Roof Decking Repair and Resheet in Conway

A professional roofer applying sealant to repair shingles on a roof.
[Before: water-damaged OSB decking with soft spots and dark staining | After: new plywood decking installed and nailed to code before re-roofing]

The problem: a small leak near the valley had been ignored for years, and when we pulled the shingles, the decking was soft enough to push a screwdriver through in three places. We cut out the rotted sections, replaced them with new plywood nailed to code, and laid down a full layer of synthetic underlayment before installing new CertainTeed shingles. The result: a roof that is actually solid underfoot, not just pretty on top. This is why we always write the decking allowance into the upfront price, so there are no surprises on the invoice if we find rot once the shingles come off.
